Douglas Lawrence "Doug" Rhodenizer

Douglas Lawrence "Doug" Rhodenizer, age 74, of Kentville, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. He was the son of the late Geraldine Rhodenizer, foster son of the late Raymond and Dot Rogers.

Doug loved to fish and hunt, and he loved his guinea pigs. Doug was a hard worker who worked for many years at Skill and other jobs to support his family. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed.

He is survived by his sister, Shirley (Wayne) Harnish, Kentville; foster brother, Gordon (Donna) Rogers, Ontario; daughter, Elizabeth Rhodenizer (Greg Pick), New Minas; two sons, Brian Rhodenizer, New Minas; Brandon Rhodenizer, Black Rock, and their mother, Sarah; his grandchildren, Trinity Pick, New Minas and Shannon Rhondenizer (Keaton Cumingham) Kentville; and his two great-grandchildren. 

He was predeceased by Elizabeth’s mother, Mary; son, Thomas Rhodenizer Jr.; brother, Thomas Rhodenizer and his foster sister, Ann Rogers.
