Roy Albert Greene

Roy Albert Greene, 67, of Kentville, passed away suddenly on March 24, 2024 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Joseph and Jean (Stevens) Greene.

Roy was a hard worker and spent more than 20 years as a long-haul truck driver. He loved coffee and going to yard sales with his wife, Marlene. In his younger years, he enjoyed working on cars and taking the family on road trips. He was an amazing grandfather to his eight grandchildren, who all loved him dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife of more than 40 years, Marlene; sons, Mark and Shane (Sarah); daughters, Miria and April (Shaun); brother, John; sisters, Carolyn Greene and Barb (Brian) Cox; grandchildren, Nicholas "Nick", Brandon, Noah, Gavin, Hunter, Tory, Owen and Harrison; and his cousins, who were also his best friends, Darrel Stevens and Scott Stark. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Stephanie in infancy; brother, Joseph and sister, Susan.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request. Donations in memory may be made directly to the family by e-transfer to: [email protected].
