Anthony Douglas Waddell

Anthony Douglas Waddell entered this world on March 10, 1964. Born in Halifax County, he attended the Dartmouth Training Centre. At the age of 18, Anthony moved to the Valley and began work at the Flower Cart, where he remained for the next 36 years. In 1993, he moved in with his friends, Maureen and Valerie, and blessed their lives for 30 years. Anthony was known by so many people and always had a big smile and a "hi" to anyone he met. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, movies, vacations, dancing and his meals. Always a cheerful and friendly man who worked hard and enjoyed life to the fullest. On April 25, 2024, Anthony left this world and took his huge heart to another place where it was needed. The funeral service and memorial gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. The burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings County. To honour Anthony’s memory, please say "hi" and smile at a stranger.
