Diane Beulah Kinsman

Diane Beulah Kinsman, of Wallbrook, NS, passed away on April 28, 2024, with her loving partner by her side. Diane was born in Windsor, NS, to the late Edward "Ned" and Mae (Sawler) Carmichael.

Diane was very social. She enjoyed going for drives and she especially enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She also liked to spend her time crocheting, and gardening; she loved flowers. Diane spent the last 20 years with her faithful partner, Gary, with whom she made wonderful memories with. During the time Diane and Gary lived in Alberta, Gary bought a motorcycle, despite Diane never having been on one, they took the bike for rides every weekend; in that time, they drove through the Rocky Mountains four times.

Diane is survived by her spouse, Gary Myles; sons, Kenny and Wayne Smiley; sisters, Betty and Carol; as well as her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her best buddy, her chocolate lab, Candy. In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by her son, Alex Smiley; brothers, Donnie and Carl; sisters, Joan Lewis and Florence Dykens.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the Lions Club and VON, for the help and care they provided Diane and Gary.

Following Diane’s wishes, there will be no visitation, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.

Donations in memory may be made to Kings SPCA. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
