Winston G. Whitney

February 24, 2024 – April 27, 2024

Our beautiful baby boy, Winston G. Whitney, passed away unexpectedly, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville with his loving mother by his side on April 27, 2024.

Winston gave us a lifetime of love and so much happiness in his two short months on Earth. Our little Bambino enjoyed listening to music and was starting to find his voice, he was able to roll from front to back and he was becoming extra playful with his loving family. He was always sharing his happy smile and had endless snuggles of pure love. Although we will miss our dear baby boy every day, he will forever remain in our hearts. Winston was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Winston is survived by his loving parents, Matthew "Matt" Whitney and Elizabeth "Beth" Moore; siblings, Ethan, Rayden and Noah, all at home; maternal grandparents, Tom and Brenda Moore, Glenmont; paternal grandparents, Greg and Barb Whitney, Hall’s Harbour; uncle, Ross Whitney, and his son, Bryson, Hall’s Harbour; aunt, Rachel (Tyler) Gill, and their daughters, Everly and Cora, Dartmouth; uncle, Richard Moore, and his children, Brendan and Alena, Glenmont; uncle, Nathan (Dayla) Moore, and their children, Jaydan, Treyton, Brettney, Zarya, Grand Prairie, Alberta; and so many extended family and friends. Winston was predeceased by two cousins, in infancy, Jesse Cormier-Moore, and Zayne Hunt-Moore.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024 (with livestream) in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville.
