Freda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who exuded love, grace, generosity and kindness. She will be remembered for her warm smile and for her devotion to her family and friends, to her much loved sheltie, Heidi, and to the causes close to her heart. She was a lifetime member of the St. James Anglican Church and the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed her bowling leagues and many travels to Spain, Portugal, and the Caribbean.

She was predeceased by her first husband, John Daniel McGee (1926-1967), Kentville and son, David, in infancy; brothers, Beverly and Marvin; sisters-in-law, Jackie and Mary-Ella (Russell), and Grace Earle; brother-in-law Clyde Earle.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Kenneth Fredericks; sons, Dan McGee (Sonya), Coldbrook, and Kevin McGee (Doreen), Sherwood Park, AB; brother, Floyd Russell; sister-in-law, Mazie Russell; grandchildren, Kara (Gordon), Dustin (Terri), Kaitlin, D’Arcy, Dylan (Hanna), Morgan (Kristin); great-grandchildren Colby, Jaxson, Gracie, Quinlan, Adeline, Maria, and Thomas; and many nieces and nephews who lovingly knew her as Aunt Fe.
