Kenneth Leslie Pinch

Kenneth Leslie Pinch – 76, of Berwick, formerly of West Brooklyn, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Harding and Leota (Golar) Pinch.

Prior to retirement, Kenneth worked for Stirling Farms. He married the love of his life, Shirley (Whiston) in 1970 and together they raised two beautiful children, Doris and Ken, who Kenneth was so very proud of. Kenneth was a longtime member of West Brooklyn Baptist Church and assisted with keeping the church clean and with church activities. Kenneth enjoyed wrestling, listening to music and dancing. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed being outside. Above all else, his favourite time spent was always with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Doris Pinch, Berwick; son, Ken (Linda) Pinch, Waterville; brother, Raymond (Pauline) Pinch, West Brooklyn; sister, Gladys Pinch, Waterville; grandchildren, Aubrey Pinch, Tamara Pinch, Courtney Pinch, Hayley Pinch, Kayla Pinch, Arianna Pinch and Gregory Robertson; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, Shirley; daughter in infancy, Karen Anne; brothers, Graham, Harold and Budd Pinch, Victor and Alfred in infancy; sisters, Alwilda "Mae" Brown and Charlotte MacAuley, Jessie and Mabel in infancy.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation, by request. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in West Brooklyn Cemetery, Kings Co. Donations in memory may be made to Valley Regional Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
