Marc Elliott Kennah
1984-2026
Marc Elliott Kennah passed away on May 20, 2026, at the Valley Regional Hospital surrounded by family. Marc is survived by his mother Cynthia Kennah (Levesque), his father David Kennah and his sister Jennifer Lewis (Kennah).
Marc was born in Moncton, NB but spent the first year of his life at the I.W.K. Hospital in Halifax. He was born with cerebral palsy but had a huge personality. Everyone who met him was greeted with a smile and laughter. For many years, he was a resident at Evergreen Home for Special Care where he received excellent care and made a new family of friends with residents and staff. His best friend Devonte will sadly miss him. As long-term residents and roommates they enjoyed hosting many friends in their room for music and movies.
Although Marc was born with many disabilities, he experienced a full life. He went to school and graduated from Northeast Kings Education Center to a standing ovation with the aid of his teacher and friend Perry Spinney. He enjoyed many outings and events including trips to Florida where he loved to swim, dance in his wheelchair at the town square, and ride in the golf cart. There were not many experiences in his life that he did not try and enjoy. Marc will always have a place in the hearts of all who crossed paths with him.
A celebration of life is planned for Tuesday, June 16th 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Home for Special Care, 655 Park Street, Kentville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cerebral Palsy Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
