Zedrick Leo "Ted" Nauss

Zedrick Leo "Ted" Nauss – 71, of Cambridge, formerly of Blockhouse, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones on Monday, June 22^nd, 2026.

Zedrick was well known as Ted. He was a man that could do anything. Ted had a big heart and would help who he could. He loved the outdoors, working with wood, building something or in the garden. The one thing above all else, he was madly in love with his Angel, also known as his wife, Janet Nauss.

Zedrick is survived by his wife, Janet Nauss; four children, Tania Nauss, Cambridge; Joey Nauss (Carrie Morgan), Canning; Holly (Simon) Metzler, Greenwich; Todd Nauss, Kentville; grandchildren, Alex, Sabrina, Mariah Sweet, Tanner Nauss, Olivia Nauss, Aubree, Aria Nauss; his mother, Lily Veinotte, Bridgewater, formerly of Kentville; sisters, Diana (Albert) Caines, Blockhouse; Jane (Brenton) Dorey, Hebbville; brothers, Gordon Nauss (Joanne Ullock), Blockhouse; Earl Nauss (Melodie Allen), Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Laliah and Fred Frank; father, Nearus Nauss; stepfather, Frankie Veinotte; sister, Violet Swinimer and brother, Ernie Nauss.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service, by request. There will be a celebration of life at Ted and Janet’s home, 5926 Highway 1, Cambridge (next to the Valley Drive In) from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, June 28^th, 2026. All that knew Ted are welcome. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
