Joshua Martin Keddy

Joshua Martin Keddy – 45, of Aylesford, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026, at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Donna (Boutilier) Dominey, Woodville, and the late Martin Chester Keddy. 

Joshua was a truck driver for Eassons Limited, moving to Alberta to haul logs locally. He returned to Nova Scotia to continue his career with Eassons. Joshua enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and along with his father, shearing Christmas trees and cutting wood. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his children. Josh was a kind and caring person. He enjoyed spending time at the camp that his father left for Joshua and his brother. 

In addition to his mother, Joshua is survived by his children, Agustin and Lonnie, as well as Jeremiah and Delilah; brother, Tyler (Jen) Keddy; nieces and nephews, Morgan, Cole, Luke and Kaiah; paternal grandmother, Sarah "Alberta" Keddy; aunts, uncles, extended family members and good friends, Ryan Griffin and Courtney Bennett. 

Joshua was predeceased by his father, Martin Chester Keddy; paternal grandfather, Chester Keddy; maternal grandparents, Harold Thomas and Jean Amelia (Oakley) Boutilier. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Burial will take place in the Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, New Ross. All of Joshua’s friends and family are encouraged to dress casually, jeans, plaid shirts or t-shirts, that is how Joshua would want it.
