Arthur Henry "Art" Pyne

Arthur Henry "Art" Pyne – 73, of New Minas, Nova Scotia, passed away at home on July 6, 2026. Born in Lakeville, Nova Scotia, on October 24, 1952, he was a son of the late Shirley and Hattie (Johnstone) Pyne.

Arthur had a lifelong appreciation for cars and always enjoyed admiring a beautiful vehicle. He also found great satisfaction in gardening, taking pride in the time and care he devoted to his yard and gardens. Known by many as a true "wheeler and dealer," he had a gift for buying, selling, and making a good deal. His love of conversation made him a familiar and memorable presence to all who knew him.

Arthur is survived by his children, Robin Corbin, Jamie (Darlene) Kelly, and Arthur Corbin; his sisters, Pauline (Cecil) Bond, and Elsie (David) Weatherbee; his grandchildren, Katelyn Corbin, Dylan Corbin (Emily West), Ryan Corbin, Tyson States, and Taylor Parker; and his great-grandchildren, Roman, Scarlett, and Maxwell.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Paul Pyne, George Pyne, David Pyne, Ronald Pyne, and Bill Powell.

A graveside service will take place on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Lakeview Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville
