Donna Ethel Ells

Donna Ethel Ells – 78, of Centreville, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Anna (Aker) Schnare.

Donna was an Elementary School Teacher; she taught grades primary and one for over 30 years at Cambridge Elementary School. 

Donna is survived by her son, Jeff; brothers, David Schnare and Ken (Joanne MacDonald) Schnare; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth "Howe" Ells; sister, Karen (Art) Penner; brother, Robert "Bob" Aker; sisters-in-law, Lantha Aker and Linda Schnare.

Cremation has taken place. Public visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in the White Family Funeral Home. A private graveside service will take place in the Canard Burial Ground, Canard at a later date.
