Pauline Bernice Woodworth
1931-2026
Pauline Bernice Woodworth of New Minas, formerly of Wolfville, passed away on July 15, 2026. Born in Simpsons Corner, Lunenburg Co., on August 30th, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Robert Emino & Sadie (Joudrey) Emino.
She was a member of the former St. Andrew’s United Church in Wolfville where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a member of the former Wolfville Lionettes Club and was also on the Provincial Board for social assistance for a number of years. She was a volunteer for many years and received recognition for her outstanding contribution from the Lieutenant Governor or Nova Scotia.
Pauline left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew her. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and the memory of her sharp wit, immense kindness & generosity of spirit which will be treasured by her family & friends. Mom would go out of her way to meet the needs of others. She was an accomplished cook and hostess. The love she radiated will be carried with us and the strength, courage & humour she possessed will continue to be our inspiration.
Pauline is survived by daughters, Marsha (Roy Brown) New Minas, Marilyn D’Eon, Cambridge; son, Michael (Diane), Toronto; grandchildren, Lori (Jeremy Rawson), Amy (Anthony Garber), Joseph D’Eon, Rebecca (Ryan Dillman), Evan & Jack, as well as seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Buster; son, Allen (in infancy); brothers, Hallett, Aubrey & Charlie; sister, Dorothy DeLong; as well as her parents.
No visitation by request. Arrangements have been entrusted to White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. Service will be held on Thursday, August 27th, 2026, at 2:00 pm at White Family Funeral Home, with reception following the service. Family burial at Willowbank Cemetery in Wolfville at 4:30. Cremation has taken place.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rob Gunn & his staff for their kindness, the staff of the Valley Regional Hospital, as well as the wonderful staff at Evergreen Nursing Home. Also, a very special thanks to Dave Cullen for his help and kindness over the years.
