Nancy Jane (Pineo) Haggerty - 65, of White Rock, Kings County, formerly of Lakewood Road, Kings County passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at home, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Centreville, Kings County, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Dorothy (Johnstone) Pineo. She had been employed with James Bezanson Produce, Dominion Paper Board and picking produce at various farms throughout the area. She enjoyed gardening, yard sales, crafting, quilting and travelling. Left to always remember her are her partner, Terry Clarke; children, Brian Dill (Sherri-Lee Balcom) and Trevor Dill (Laurie Dobbs), both of Edmonton, Alberta; Pamela Dill (Kevin Pudsey), Calgary, Alberta; step-children, Michael (Beth) Clarke, Alberta; Michelle (Jeff) Dempsey, New Minas; 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; brothers, Harry (Donna) Pineo and family, Lakeville; Billy Pineo (Ruby Vachon) and family, Woodville; Donnie (Ardith) Pineo and family, English Mountain Road; James (Sharon) Pineo and family, Lower Canard; sisters, Lois Kent and family, Trenton, Ontario; Rose (Doug) Bezanson and family, Waterville; brother-in-law, Clarence Mercer and family, Ontario; sister-in-law, Joyce Pineo and family, Sheffield Mills; Reg Pineo’s family; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Rae Haggerty; sons, Herbert and Dwayne; grandson, Lucas; brothers, Reg and Gerald; sisters, Alberta and Marion. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013, Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
