Geraldine F. Brewster

Geraldine F. (Myles) Brewster - 72, of Baxter's Harbour. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mom passed away at the Valley Regional Hospital with her family at her side on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Born in Wolfville on August 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Florence (Atwell) Myles. Mom was a homemaker and loving wife to her husband, Kenny of 50 years and a devoted mother/grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Mom's favorite pastime was playing bingo and spending time with her great grandson, Alex (her Robin). Besides her husband, she is survived by sons, Daniel (Cheryl), Edmonton; Ivan (Jackie), Kingston; daughters, Karen (Ron), Glenmont; Irene (David), Waterville; a sister, Mildred; brothers, Billy, Alonzo, Wilford and Lorne. She was predeceased by son, Mike; sister, Marion and brother, Richard. Mom has nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, whom she loved with all of her heart. Mom was a wonderful person, it was an honour and privilege to have known her. She was like a mother to many and will be missed dearly. Though her body is gone, she will live on in the hearts and minds of all that have known her. Visitation will be held from 3:30 - 5:00 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014. Interment will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
