Christina Muis

Christina Muis - 85, of Lakewood Road, Kings County, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 in Shannex-Orchard Court, Kentville. Born in The Netherlands, she was a daughter of the late Ryk and Willempje (van de Krol) van Zwetselaar. She is survived by three sons, Albert (Debbie), Ron (Mary) and Ken (Kathy); a daughter, Collen; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her family in Holland, especially her sister, Janny. She was predeceased by her husband, Everadus; her best friend, Johanna  VanKippersluis (October, 2014). Christine was an avid gardener and seamstress. She was also a member of Hobby Crafters for many years. There will be no visitation, by request. The funeral service, followed by a reception, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. A private family burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County. Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Cardiac Rehab Society.
